Every year the NEC/CAU offers seats for B.Sc. (Horticulture) Courses to the State of Manipur. Based on such offers, the Department nominates candidates based on 10+2 marks or Selection Test. Announcement for such nomination are usually made around May/June.

1. B.Sc.(Hort) at Dr. Y.S Parmar University of Horticulture & Forestry,Nauni, Solan, Himachal Pradesh

No. of Seats : Announced every year.

Eligibility: 10+2 or equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Mathematics/Agriculture of a recognised University/Board with a minimum of 50%.

2. B.Sc(Horti) of 4-years Degree Course as State nominee at the College of Horticulture & Forestry, Central Agricultural University, Pasighat, Arunachal Pradesh for North Eastern Regions.

Documents to be submitted:

The application form duly filled in along with the attested copies of Certificates and Educational Qualification accompanied with crossed IPO of Rs. 200 /- (Rupees two hundred, but the fee may be changed with time) only payable in favour of the Director, Horticulture & Soil Conservation, Manipur should be submitted to this Directorate. The application form received after the due date will not be entertained. Incomplete application form and those not accompanied with essential certificates & fee will be summarily rejected. No correspondence in this regard will be entertained. And declaration of list of eligible candidates will be noticed.

Eligibility :

Minimum qualification: 10+2 Secondary (10+2) in all subjects with 60 % marks in aggregate for General category & 50% marks for SC/ST categories in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Maths or Agriculture.

Age: The candidate must attain 17 (seventeen) years of age.
